Membership Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions form part of your agreement with Redefine Health and Wellbeing Ltd.  Please make sure that you read them carefully and understand them. Should you have any queries please speak to a member of staff.

1. By entering the facility you agree to be bound by the T’s & C’s below.

2. Every member will be required to download the Redefine Clubright app. This where your entire membership will be managed.

3. Parking – Please park on New Street or surrounding streets NOT in the spaces designated to the shops and businesses around Redefine.

4. Only females aged 16 and over are permitted. The club is not insured for anyone under the age of 16 on the premises.

5. Your agreement commences on the start date set out on your membership agreement form. You will need to make the agreed payments as per your membership contract. If you cancel your Direct Debit without giving us notice or are within your agreed contract and fail to pay, we will suspend your membership, and access to the club will be denied until payment is made to bring your account up to date. 

6. We may appoint a debt collection agency to collect any payments you owe us, and you may have to pay any costs associated with this, including legal and court costs and interest. Or we may choose to take the payments owed from your credit card or debit card using the credit card or debit card details you have given us, and you hereby authorise us to do so.

7. You have a right to cancel your membership when your contract period is spent.  To do so you must inform us in writing by sending an email to ADMIN@REDEFINE.HEALTH We require a minimum of one month’s notice period. If we receive your notice by the first day of the month, your membership will end on the last day of the same month. If we receive your notice after the first day of the month, your membership will end on the last day of the following month (this means that if we receive your notice on 12th May, your agreement will cease on 30th June).  We will also request the difference to be paid from the membership period you agreed to and the time period you have been a member (e.g you sign for one year and cancel after one month – you will be required to pay the difference between the single month rate and the monthly year rate.

8. During your membership you must pay your membership fees whether you use the facilities and services or not.

9. The membership is not transferable and must only be used by the registered member. Any misuse of the membership will result in the membership being cancelled.

10. The management of REDEFINE HEALTH AND WELLBEING LTD reserve the right to cancel any membership should a member be in breach of rules of conduct which in the view of the management of Redefine is offensive to customers and /or staff or represents a health and safety danger.

11. If we cannot provide all the services and facilities at your club for 30 consecutive days or more, or services and facilities are significantly reduced for 30 consecutive days or more, for reasons or events beyond our reasonable control, you or we can cancel your agreement immediately by written notice. By law, we do not have to pay you compensation in these circumstances.

Reasons or events beyond our reasonable control could include, for example, but are not limited to natural disasters, government actions, war, national or regional emergency, acts of terrorism, protests, riot, fire, explosion, flood, an epidemic and strikes or other labour disputes (not relating to our workforce).

12. Individual memberships may be frozen for a period of 3 months on the production of a valid medical certificate.

13. From time to time we may change our membership fees by any amount we think is reasonable and we may choose to withdraw a type of membership or payment option. We will advise you about any change that will apply to you.

14. Members are requested to bring and use a sweat towel to use for sitting on equipment and for personal sweat use.

15. Correct clothing and footwear MUST be worn at all times. 

16. Members must not –

- Drop weights

- Display any antisocial behaviour that may cause other Redefine members or staff concern or upset

- Share any access codes or give any none members access at any time.  Failure to comply will result in your membership being revoked with immediate effect.

- Sit on machines while texting/calling. This is your time to train. Put your phone down, and get those reps in!!!!

- Bring food or inappropriate drinks (no Prosecco ladies!!) on the gym floor

17. Members must - 

- Tidy their weights and leave the club floor clear and safe

- During unmanned hours, ensure the lights and music system is turned off if they are the last person to leave

- Ensure you and your clothing is fresh, clean and nice smelling!

- Ensure the external gate is closed and locked at all times

- Advise the management team if you see anything of concern

- Please make sure you attend the club in clean, appropriate footwear

18. By booking a class you agree to adhere to our 24hr cancellation policy

19. By signing up to our facility you agree to be monitored by CCTV for your safety and the security of the club
